I've watched the anime multiple times, and read the manga at least 1-2 times. And yet. When Hughes dies. When they bury him. When Elysia and Gracia and Roy and Hawkeye all grieve. I cry every time.

Yes, project Reread the FMA Manga! has started.

When I get through all the "Fruits Basket" they've got at the library (which is up through vol 21), I'm startin' in on FMA. I don't know how far I'll get but I intend to special order from other area libraries if need be...

I've never cried over manga (came close with "Please Save My Earth" but that was it), but I've cried uncontrollably all four times I've watched the Hughes episode of the anime, as well as both times I've watched the finale, AND the time I watched the dub of the finale... so at least I'm consistent. ^_^
