This afternoon
Oct. 20th, 2009 06:41 pmAfter coming home from class and feeling like utter crap, I resolved to rest until I felt better, and then get things done. I took a two hour nap instead. I've done nothing and feel a bit groggy.
I tell a lie - I've worked on my sorta!surprise!Sociology paper for tomorrow. We were supposed to have a test last week, but the prof was ill. Instead we're having an extra paper, a test, and an open-book test on the chapter we haven't covered yet. The paper is about the history of the Nobel Peace Prize. Did you know that the first American to get a Nobel Prize was Teddy Roosevelt? And he got it for Peace! Kinda seems funny with our perception of him now. Fierce hunter and all.
After this I need to go downstairs, work on the kitchen, and start dinner. I'm having potatoes and carrots and salmon. It should be delicious.
Also several schools in the area are closing temporarily due to illness. As in 1/4 of the kids can't come to school because they are sick. That's a lot!

on 2009-10-21 12:03 am (UTC)I am making macaroni lasagna for dinner! It is the world's most delicious food. Yours sounds so much healthier, though, and perhaps nearly as delicious.
