Headline: Rapes of elderly women terrify central Texas towns
Opening Sentence: YOAKUM, Texas – With a serial rapist on the loose, Cassandra McGinty has developed a new routine when she arrives home: search room to room, a handgun or stun gun drawn.
Now I don't meant to make light of the situation. I hope they catch that sucker and soon. But it just seems a bit awesome to me that the opening sentence is about an older woman taking care of her own defense, rather than talking about police action or whatnot. Even if it's because it's been a year since the first attack and the police have DNA evidence and they haven't found him yet. Link
