Homework is the devil. Not the good devil, the charismatic one, but the one that makes you feel bad about being bad. The Christian one, the one that's God's right hand. Not that I believe in that. But I ought to be doing homework, and I'm not. I feel bad. Well...better fix that.

So, a friend of mine and I went to little five points...yesterday...was it really just yesterday?...to get her a hat. A fedora, to be exact. Very nifty, black, looks really good on her. Anyway...so, while we're there, we drop by this awesome shop called Crystal Blue, probably her favorite shop (at least for the week) in Little Five Points. So, while we're there, I'm looking at some of the stones they have for sale, and I see this bluish-purplish-blackish one with silvery sparkles in it. There's no way to describe it properly, but it is beautiful.

That's a half-way decent picture of it, or you can just google it. Anyway, so my friend gets it for me, because believe me, I can't take my eyes off of it. And I just love it. It's sitting on my windowsill now, and I'll just pick it up and look at it for minutes on end. But it looks lonely, so now I feel like I ought to buy more. I've always loved stones. I have collected Tigers eye and lots of other ones. And everytime that I went someplace that I liked, I would pick up a stone. I think I've gotten rid of them all now, but it really reminds me of that. I think I'm going to have to get some more. And a bag to carry them in for when I travel. (Still a college student).
Drat you for making ME addicted again!
