Yay Summer!
May. 4th, 2007 09:27 amI've now worked my first real job for a year. Plus a few weeks. I'm a little less overwhelmed than I was at first, and a lot happier. Getting a chance to spend time with people on a regular basis helps a lot. Thank goodness for DnD.
In the past year I've paid off my only student loan (for Ireland). I'm debt-free, minus credit card debt, which we pay off every month, so I don't think that counts.
I've done my taxes twice.
I found out that graduation isn't as special as I thought it would be, and that tradition isn't as important as I thought it was either.
I figured out that as long as I know that Matt loves me, I don't need to worry about what society thinks about his actions. I have to keep reminding myself of that, of course.
In the past year and a half I've read the entirety of the Discworld series (minus "The Last Hero").
I've bought all of Fruits Basket, a lot of Ouran and Saiyuki, and have discovered the joys of Princess Tutu.
I've learned to cook new things, and have impressed my mother with my skills.
I'm learning how to keep the apartment clean.
I still have no clue what to do with my life, but I think that's okay. I hope.

on 2007-05-04 04:59 pm (UTC)Driving to Athens is easy, and is less stressful than Atlanta, because there is far less traffic and traffic lights. Athens, while filled with stupid pedestrians and drivers, is still less stressful than Athens.
