clodia_risaI am taking it upon myself to be a better friend and to contact people more often and also to post more on LJ and to respond more. Because that's being a better person? Or something. Having said this I have no doubt jinxed myself. I will now disappear for two months.

octopedingenue: (And I can spell that from memory, thank you!). I'm sorry I didn't call you back on Sunday, and then not answering the phone on Monday. The Sunday thing was due to busyness, and Monday was due to having to work. The boss was nice, though, and let us go home at three.
I finally know howflutingfrenzy felt about Sirius' death in HP5. I've been reading College Roomies from Hell!!! (crfh.net) for several years now, and it is one of my favorite comics ever. The third to most recent storyline was the gang going on spring break to Mike's private resort on some gorgeous island. (Mike is stinking rich, a bastard, has a tentacle for an arm, his mom is the scariest person ever and has tortured her kids before, literally.) He then has sex with this girl he hates while possessed with the devil, fights the devil, saves his fiance from being stabbed by the girl he hates and gets stabbed in the process. We see blood coming out of his mouth and we fast forward to two weeks later. There is a funeral going on. Everyone says that Mike and his dad are dead (dad had a heart attack when he saw Dave, Mike's roomie, shoot lasers from his eyes.)
I DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! And I don't know why, except forflutingfrenzy's constant comment: No Body=No Death. It's not that he didn't look close to death, and that they said that since the helicopter was already gone with Mike's dad, there was no way for him to get medical treatment. But I just can't believe it. I mean, dead? Mike? How can he be? It's not possible.
She is too good of a writer for her own good. I have no clue where this is going. I'm still reeling.
