Maine
I am disappointed in the outcome of Maine's election. But I am certain that it is only a matter of time that there are equal civil rights for homosexuals and heterosexuals. This is why. Specifically this. According to the second graph, over 50% of the population aged 18-29 in almost 80% of the states supports same sex marriage.
It's only a matter of time. If only that helped the people being discriminated against right now.

human equalitygay marriage, but at least I can have enough hope to say "baby steps, it WILL happen"...I also find some small comfort in the fact that, even though people are voting the measures down, it's the government in these cases that is putting forth suggestions in *support* of gay marriage rather than putting forth actions to wipe it out entirely. Not that that's not happening also, but... at least in Maine and CA the government has the right idea, even if people have their heads up their butts.
