So...we've had the discussion on how Halfrek and Cecily were played by the same person. Is there any essays/fiction/discussion on whether they're the same person? I know in "Older and Far away" (Buffy's b'day episode) she calls him William.
Do you know anything about it?

I know there was a ton of discussion on the subject on TabulaRasa and BAPS around the time the episode aired. I swear I read an interview with one of the writers from around that time acknowledging that the same actress was used and saying basically, "Yep, Halfrek is Cecily, but we're never going to go anywhere with that", but I can't find anything on Google! As to fiction, I haven't read anything truly fantabulous on the subject that's stuck in my memory, but here's what AAS seems to have.

Here's the Cecily-Halfrek/William-Spike video to "The Last Time I Saw William" that I was telling you about. It's a cute video, and the song really does fit William-Spike PERFECTLY.
