Book quiz

You're Pale Fire!

by Vladimir Nabokov

You're really into poetry and the interpretation thereof. Along the
road of life, you have had several identity crises which make it very unclear who you
are, let alone how to interpret poetry. You probably came from a foreign country, but
then again you seem foreign to everyone in ways unrelated to immigration. Most people
think you're quite funny, but maybe you're just sick. Talking to you ends up being much
like playing a round of the popular board game Clue.

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

I read it last year in Postmodern Fiction.

It KICKS SOOOOO MUUUUCH ASS.

The premise is...IMPOSSIBLE to explain, but the short and very simplified version is that it's an epic poem by a murdered poet named John Archer who may or may not exist, plus a rambling in-depth critique of the poem by a nameless critic who may or may not be insane, may or may not be the exiled king of a mythical country, and who may or may not be responsible for the death of Archer.

Also, an entire subplot is explored in the book page index.

Kicks. so. much. ass.
