Oh.....my.....god.......
Puppet Angel. Puppet Angel. Puppet Angel VAMPING OUT! Puppet Angel wielding sword! Lorne carrying Puppet Angel! Puppet Angel kicking ass! Puppet Angel nearly getting eaten by Nina! Puppet Angel's hair! Puppet Angel's forehead! Puppet Angel's scars! Skin! Hands! Clothes! Excitability! Watching SmileTime!! Sewing Clothes! Getting Angry! Hugging FRED! Beating up Spike! HA!!!!!!
Whew....now that I've got that out of my system....
Oh dear Gunn...what have you gotten yourself into. I understand dearheart, but I'm afraid for you. You were scary. *hugs* I hope you're okay in the end, luv.
WHY DIDN'T LORNE LET THE GUY CONTINUE SINGING?!?!? OR FIGURE OUT THAT HE WAS A PUPPET IN THE TWO LINES HE SANG?!?!? Seriously, has he lost all function. Have they forgotten that music is his key to everyone else's heart? Poor Lorne...so underappreciated.
Hehehe...go David Fury. Be the puppet/ex-puppetmaster.
Fred...you go girl! You know you had to kiss him. I was sitting there like "kiss him! He's not going to get it! He's as dense as Angel!!!"
HEHEheheheeee...when Angel figured out that Nina likes him. Wesley getting worked up about it. Hehehee....you know, I think Wes is getting less and less scruffy because he's getting more and more happy.
My official feeling on Fred/Wes. I personally support the end of this episode. NOT because it's Fred. I don't give a crap who Wes hooks up with. I'm just a Wes/Happiness shipper. And if that so happens to be Fred, so be it. If that happened to be....*tries to think worst person in the show*.......ummmm....Eve, then I'm sure that it would somehow be validated enough to make me happy. I'm not necessarily a shipper of any sort. If you can say WHY this pairing works well enough, I'll accept it. I'm just glad that Wes is FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY happy! (Or at least until next week.) Plus, its about time that Fred clued into the hotness, wonderfulness, inteligentness, Britishness, perfection that is Wesley.
I don't care about Nina/Angel either. But its cute. And he's happy. And she's nice. Go boy! Don't lose your soul!
"You're a wee little puppet man!" "You heard the puppet!" Even if Spike had to show up for only two minutes so he can get paid, etc, they were an entertaining two minutes.
EVIL PUPPETS! Was anyone else scarred by them drinking/cursing/being evil in general. The leader actually said "in one fell swoop". Fell swoop! Only the most campy and evil of evil says that!!!
Good plot, good subplots. Gunn is going to be bitten on the ass (again) soon, I'm sure. Lorne needs something to do. Yay for happiness! (Even if it is fleeting and short-lived.)
So...in all...I liked the episode. It didn't take itself too seriously, which can be a problem. Next week will be too serious, I'm sure. Sigh...I'm sad that Angel is ending. At least it is ending on a good note (if the rest of the season holds out).
Angel: Vampire with a Soul, fighting the good fight in the offices of evil, the Champion of Champions. And now a PUPPET! (Because Muppets are copyrighted).
