For those who don't know - General Grievious is the Emperor's right hand (no - not Mara Jade), and yet another new character in the 3rd movie. Part machine, part man, all evil.

She totally was a Mary Sue. At the time however I thought she was awesome. Then again, maybe it was because I thought Luke totally deserved to get some . . . his being all "chaste Jedi" got annoying. His love affairs with the souls of women trapped in computers not withstanding.

Concerning Mara Jade: I recognize that she is a Sue. However, I did not then, and because of it I loved her with a fiery passion. I still do, just because its hard for me to turn my back on my favorites. (Except for Wesley from ST:TNG - I loved him back in middle school, and now wish he would die.)

Hahah, we have major Mara Jade-love. I can't say I hate her either.
