For those who don't know, it is rumored that gas prices are about to go up 50 cents in the next 24 hours. If I were you, I would fill up. I already have.

P.S. - I had a wonderful birthday. I took the day off and relaxed in Athens. Matt took me out to eat at DePalma's (v. nice Italian place) and I had a birthday brownie with ice cream and caramel and whipped cream and chocolate and one candle. I also had an amaretto. I liked it alright until about halfway through, when the though occured to me "This tastes like cough syrup." I couldn't drink much more after that.

Holy crap.

Somebody really oughta do something - this is freaking ridiculous and should be illegal. Seriously - this is only done for money, I can't believe that gas has suddenly, overnight, become THAT scarce.

oh and happy birthday!!! I kept meaning to say something yesterday and kept forgetting. :P Glad it was a good one ^_^ Nearly all the girl-drinks I've had (and those are almost all I ever drink, except the occasional White Russian) taste like cough syrup to me. I'm told Apple Martinis are supposed to be delicious, though. Never tried one.

*shrugs* I don't really like much alcohol. The only thing I have been able to find (thus far) is Mike's Hard Lemonade/Smirnoff Ice. My dad said that they're just going to have to buy me a good single malt whiskey. I'm good with that. If I'm going to suffer through alcohol, I want to look badass while doing it. :)
