Well, you finally did it
Jul. 3rd, 2006 09:45 pmI just got finished watching Princess Tutu ep. 7. That's all I've been doing this afternoon because its just that awesome.
octopedingenue, the next time you need me to watch something for my own damn good, just sit me down, and make me watch an episode. It'll make the whole process so much easier, because I can't think of a single series that you've told me I need to watch that I left with the impression: "meh, could've lived without it."
Dude! So! Good!

on 2006-07-04 02:33 pm (UTC)I've actually not read anything on Princess Tutu, knowing that I would eventually watch it. Kinda like how I'm avoiding FB spoilers (a litt)e because I know that I'm going to read it when I get the motivation. jI did read Ahiru's short summary of her powers on campersfuckoff, which is kinda what lead me to saying - Ahiru is the cutest thing ever. Dammit, now I'm gonna HAVE to watch Tutu. Cause I sitll haven't finished Bleach or watched Avatar, which technically have seniority on my time. But OH WELL! Tutu it is!
Honestly, I don't think I'm very spoiled for it (thank goodness). Currently - I'm wondering about Fakir and Rue/Kraehe. Kraehe is the raven, right? (and a quick look at babelfish tells me that Kraehe does indeed mean crow) So what is Fakir? I remember you couldn't find anything etymology-wise beside that one Indian meaning, but that's not telling me much. I'm curious.
In short - good series. Although my roomie looked incredulously at me when I told him that all conflicts were resolved through ballet.
I summed up the story so far for Matt after episode three (the fairytale part) and he said: this is really complicated. Heh.
Question! When the char. say "Princess Tutu" it sounds like they're actually saying "Princess Tutu" rather than "Tutu-hime." Why?
Um....in other words - like Princess Tutu.
