Indiana Jones, the Adaptation!
Oct. 4th, 2007 09:45 amAtlanta and Athens people! RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK: THE ADAPTATION is playing this weekend at the Athens local art cine. The film's director and star will be hosting a Q&A session after the Friday and Saturday showings. If you don't know - twenty years ago, three boys from Mississippi did a shot for shot recreation of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark - snakes, explosions, everything - all on a teenager's budget. This is the most awesome thing ever, after Furries v. Klingons bowling - so if anyone wants to come up and see it, let's do it!
The cine costs $8, and the showings on Friday and Saturday are at 4:30pm and 7pm. They have an awesome set-up, and their concession stand has coffee, tea, wine, cookies, candy, and alcohol. Which you can take into the theatre.
I probably won't go unless someone goes with me, so enable me, please!
UPDATE: Husband and I are going sometime on Saturday. Woo!
