Jul. 9th, 2008 09:03 pmWe are getting our Accord in Friday. The salesman apparently could tell that I was not particularly happy about the financing change, and so has bought back the difference in interest so that we can get our original financing (basically taking the difference in the amounts from their profits). We are very pleased and happily expect our second car on Friday.
This is slightly unnerving for me, as it is the biggest obvious change in our positions in life. We've gone from poor college students (basically) to adults...with a house...and two cars. It's slightly freaky, but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. I'm glad we have this temporary housing for this month. It's buffering the transition from that cramped, poorly laid-out apartment, to the house we'll be living in for the next two years. I still have no idea what we're going to do with that space. We'll have to have visitors!
